Dissemination workshop, part 2

On July 20, the Day Center for the Elderly no. 2 of DASM (The Social and Medical Services Directorate) Cluj-Napoca hosted the second part of the “Museum for all: accessible and inclusive” dissemination workshop within the TOMIMEUS project.

Aspects of the dissemination workshop

The activity within the Tomimeus project (Towards a multisensory and inclusive museum for individuals with sensory disabilities), funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union was a success. Participants listened the presentations about the projects, visited the photo exhibition and made a relaxed activity: a puzzle illustrating a traditional costume of Nasaud ethnographic area. Dissemination workshop

The Ethnographic Museum of Transylvania organizes on Thursday, June 30, 2022, starting with 10 am, a dissemination activity within the Tomimeus project (Towards a multisensory and inclusive museum for individuals with sensory disabilities), funded by the Erasmus + program of the European Union.

The event will include a photo exhibition, illustrating activities carried out within the project and project-related presentations.

Workshop ToMiMEUs project

The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography organized on 7th of April 2022, a workshop on the traditional costume in the Năsăud area. The participants were children without and with visual impairments. The event was organised within the project ToMiMEUs – Towards a multisensory and inclusive museum for individuals with sensory disabilities – funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.

Training in Athens

Between February 7-11, 2022, a 5-day face-to-face training course took place in Athens,  Greece, at the Nicholas and Dolly Goulandris Foundation Museum of Cycladic Art, within the Erasmus+ project ”ToMIMEUs: Towards a Multisensory and Inclusive Museum for Individuals with Sensory Disabilities”.

TOMIMEUS: Transnational project meeting in Istanbul

On January 24 and 25, 2022, the fourth Transnational Meeting of the project Towards a Multisensory and Inclusive Museum for Individuals with Sensory Disabilities / TOMIMEUS was held in Istanbul, organized by the Turkish Regional Directorate of Railways. The hosts of the Regional Directorate I of Railways in Turkey provided excellent conditions for the meeting, which benefited from the facilities in the TCDD Fenerbahçe Sosyal Tesisler.

Workshop for hearing-impaired disabilities

The Transylvanian Museum of Ethnography organized on Thursday, December 16, 2021, a workshop on the traditional costume in the Năsăud area. It was a joint workshop for students with and without hearing impairments, with the aim of inclusion students with sensory impairments (hearing impairments this time) in the museum.

International training session

An international training session took place between 20th -24th of September 2021 within the ToMiMEUs strategic partnership project (Towards a Multisensory and Inclusive Museum for Individuals with Sensory Disabilities), funded by the Erasmus + program.
